Reflective Super-Vision with Cherie has improved me as a coach because issues that had arisen from coaching clients that I was unable to properly work through myself - despite trying - were very easily resolved through supervision. Instead of being hampered by these issues during my coaching, I was able to move on rather quickly after the supervision. In a sense, the supervision unburdened me which allows me to be flexible and "agile" with my client.

During Reflective Super-Vision, I have become braver in using different approaches and it helped me to see the situation from a very neutral stance, which improved the way I coach. Cherie listened very carefully with her full attention to what has been said and unsaid. She shared meaningful observations, which put the whole case into another perspective. She did that with ease. I chose Tandem Coaching after I watched some videos of Cherie speaking on coaching and servant leadership. She seemed to understand what it meant to foster her clients' growth and usher them to their best outcomes, and I wanted some of that -- and I was not disappointed. Surely it is easy to find someone who will teach Scrum framework at a deeper than intro level. Cherie has a compelling story and teaches from a prospective of working with real human beings. And she teaches us to first develop self-awarenenss as a facilitator. That is rare.

The courses I took at Tandem Coaching Academy were very fulfilling. The course work was challenging and engaging, and the interactive sessions were invaluable. Cherie has a wealth of experience to share and I felt challenged to stretch myself with new ideas and different perspectives. I am very satisfied with the courses I chose and it has been some of the most rewarding self paced training I have taken.

This course has transformed how I work with people and how I think of myself. I see people as creative, resourceful, and whole which allows me to walk with them as they self organize. I no longer feel the need to be a super hero. Heroes and problem solvers can do more harm than good by creating a sense of dependency. Coaching has forced me to be more present and focused on who I am serving. Alex and Cherie have been great mentors and I only wish I took this class years ago!

I definitely will be recommending this workshop. I learned a lot of facilitation techniques, including but not limited to the Liberating Structures and communication suggestions to build engagement. This was well designed for varying levels of experience and it was such a great platform to share stories and to learn from others. I was impressed with the great listening from all facilitators, and it fostered a very open and inclusive environment. I personally loved the rotation across the facilitators to see a variety of facilitation styles and general change in pace. The whole class was engaged and I loved hearing all the experiences. The material taught in this course speaks precisely to what I wanted to explore coming into class. Delegation Poker, along with TRIZ, is the most valuable aspect of this course for me; This class covered so much material; anyone in an Agile space will learn something that will add to them becoming better at what they do.

As opposed to many trainers and coaches delivering agile training, Tandem Coaching Academy ensures active participation throughout the course by way of end-of-chapter exams/essays, the inclusion of videos, projects, and no fewer than 4 mentor sessions. The topics included were eye opening and transformative, and I certainly see myself evolving as an agile professional as a direct result.

I like about the course that it gives deeper insights into various aspects of what it needs to become a better Scrum Master. The course material is well structured and good to follow. You get more material than you might get in a two-day or three-day online class. What I value most is that I can learn at my own pace at any time and that the course is more affordable than on-site classes.

The Coaching Human Systems course was phenomenal in that it helped me to better grasp the concepts of Systems Thinking and how to move from coaching all the individuals in the system, to recognizing the system itself as a different entity with different needs, wants, motivations, and then coaching that system.

This course is a great way for people starting with coaching or consolidating their coaching posture as it brings everyone to level and then lift us up to our best abilities through a great mix of self-paced work, excellent supervision, lots of hands-on practice, triggering deep reflection on how we behave as coaches and enabling everyone to deepen their areas for development in a safe space. I really enjoyed the ACC journey with Alex and Cherie and pursue it now on my PCC path!

This course took me far longer than a traditional classroom based certificate would take... and that's a great thing!I was able to follow this course with my own pace, take this learnings to my teams incrementally, and really soak the material in.Cherie is a great trainer with the mentorship sessions and will give guidance whenever you need!

I have a background in psychology and have done my ACC and NLP certifications. ICP-SYS highlighted how all these fields combine and apply to group settings. I felt that the instructor gravitated towards Agile and SCRUM. I felt slightly lost as the other cohort members are experienced in the same. Apart from this, I learned a lot from the exercises and the theories of systems coaching.

In earning the ICF-ACC I expected to learn some new things about agile coaching. Instead, the course content and instructors Cherie and Alex, opened my eyes to new worlds of human possibility. The course was highly interactive and time feels like it went by fast. Dana demonstrated a lot of what a great facilitator would look like, and the way she designed the course and space was highly interactive and she create connection between the participants fairly early on so people feel comfortable sharing their experience, thoughts and opinion that enhanced the learning experience.

A lot of practices that helped honed in the theory. Cherie shared lot of her knowledge and experience and was patient in answering the questions around our situation. So many great tools on addressing team and for me especially organizational impediments and communication. I felt like I could trust Cherie. I really appreciate that Cherie answered a concern I had after day 1's class.

I really enjoyed this course, it was a great blend of knowledge to application of the knowledge. Cherie is an excellent instructor! We were able to hear some real life application of the knowledge at different places which solidify the learning. The breakout sessions helped the student get more and more comfortable with trying to coach/mentor an individual.

The coaching and mentoring practices were really helpful in terms of applying the agile coaching principles and techniques IRL. I learned about what coaching is and is not, how it is similar to and different from mentoring or consulting, which was super insightful. The roles section provided clarity in the different responsibilities and directions one could take as an agile coach.

I really liked how Cherie did coaching sessions with the attendees about their actual work situations. I learned what a Agile coach is and is not and Agile coaching is a partnership. I enjoyed learning about the different levels of listening and how to ask transformation questions. The best part about this course was the coaching/mentoring break out room sessions.

Fantastic course with lots of applicability to real-world uses. I almost wish it was a longer session! So many classes focus on theory only, and it can be hard to implement new learnings afterward. I have copious notes of new items to try and different approaches to implementing, and I left class feeling ready to go.

The coaching arc that we learned in the course is really powerful, It gives you direction to navigate in a coaching conversation. Futhermore, having a course throughout the year is wonderful, you are reviewing constantly what you learned and you can bring questions to ask. Practicing in front of people is also great, it helps you increase your confidence and the feedback you get from the Coaches is really detailed and useful.

I’ve enjoyed the challenge of working through Tandem Academy’s CSP course. I thought the course material was generally very high quality and I really appreciated the materials in the Service to the Organization - Organizational Development section. Working with Cherie and cohort members in the Live Mentoring sessions was great - I made some connections there that have carried forth to this day.

These courses are designed to support learning at our own pace. Exercises guide you throughout the learning, making you dwell on the important things, to fix the concepts. The live group coaching sessions and the community space add the personal interaction needed. I recommend these courses, especially for who has complex agendas and need to have the maximum flexibility on education slotting.

The course was an excellent training for Professional Coaching. As an Agile Coach I can apply the skills learned to my team coaching and individual coaching. Due to my working schedule I had to pause attending sessions, and pick up again later in the year. The flexibility to do this was invaluable. Alex and Cherie provided amazing feedback and mentoring to help me with my confidence.

This was, by far, the best IC Agile course that I have taken to date. Systems coaching has been on my radar for a while now, and this course has given me a deep dive into the knowledge and tools needed to properly coach any system, no matter how big or small. Cherie is a skilled instructor with deep knowledge and experience who quickly and adeptly created a safe space for the group to learn. Many of the concepts (eg. psych safety, agreements, ethics) overlap with other coaching types (1:1, leadership, etc.), consequently I found how to apply the team exercises (eg. constellation, elephants, swimming pool) to be one of the most valuable aspects.

There were a lot of good tools we can use as Agile Facilitators to help the teams we are working with. Participation in break-out sessions was good to ensure we understood the concepts being discussed in training. Overall, this was a good way to share our experiences and helped us improve our overall skills.

ICAgile Team Foundation is a great training. I got exposed to so many tools which I can use in my Day to Day life and be lot more effective in my role as Agile Scrum Master. The training was well paced and covered a lot of exercise giving opportunity to discuss with like minded people and learn from their experience.

My favorite part of the course was listening to live and recorded coaching sessions done by Alex and Cherie and getting to experience the difference between what coaching can/ should be. It's like never having had a home grown strawberry and thinking grocery store strawberries are as good as it gets and then experiencing one straight from your garden - Oooooh THAT'S what we're going for!?! My general experience was good. I learned various techniques that helped me perform better at my current job and develop skills for the future. I've enjoyed this course as an exploration of wholistic coaching for the enterprise. It's given me a new way to look at tools and techniques that I've seen before and ways to use them in more wholistic ways. It's also helping me figure out where I might fit in the coaching ecosystem.
