ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) Is Here!
As organizations – private and public – recognize the power of teams to innovate and drive their business or mission forward, the need to harness team’s collective energy and wisdom is growing. Increasingly, organizations are turning to team coaches to help them do just that. That’s why team coaching is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the coaching profession.
To define and guide this growing discipline, ICF Credentials and Standards has developed the ICF Team Coaching Competencies model. This model sets the standard for team coaching practice and serves as the foundation for the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). This certification is designed to recognize the knowledge, skill and competence of team coaches in this complex discipline of coaching practice. It also enables team coach practitioners to independently validate their knowledge, skills and competence in this important discipline of coaching practice, setting themselves apart as an advanced practitioner in an increasingly crowded marketplace, and demonstrating their value for organizational purchasers of team coaching services.
To earn the ICF ACTC, candidates must demonstrate they meet rigorous eligibility requirements and high standards of practice in team coaching – from education and training to experience – as well as pass an independent written exam based on the ICF Team Coaching Competencies, designed by experienced team coaches and delivered by the ICF Credentials and Standards in partnership with Pearson VUE.By earning the ICF ACTC, candidates demonstrate they meet the high standards of the ICF, the most globally recognized certification body for coaches – and now, team coaching practitioners.
