These Additional Terms apply to purchases from Tandem Coaching Partners LLC (“Tandem”). They supplement Tandem’s general Terms and Conditions. If these Additional Terms conflict with a general voluntary cancellation, refund, subscription, digital-content, or education term, these Additional Terms control for the covered purchase. An Order Confirmation or signed agreement may give a purchaser a more favorable right or may expressly replace an identified clause. Rights and remedies that applicable law does not allow a purchaser to waive always remain available.
These terms apply prospectively to purchases completed on or after September 12, 2026. Earlier purchasers keep any longer or more favorable product-specific promise shown or agreed when they purchased.
Purchaser means the person or organization that places and pays for an order. Participant means the learner or service recipient. They may be different people. Order Confirmation means Tandem’s checkout, invoice, proposal, contract, or confirmation identifying the purchased item, price, delivery basis, and any product-specific terms. Business Day means Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. Program Start means the cancellation anchor identified in the Order Confirmation: ordinarily the first scheduled live class for a cohort or module, the first scheduled appointment for an individual service, or delivery of digital access for a self-paced product.
A price is not reserved by visiting a page, attending a consultation, requesting information, beginning but not completing checkout, or seeing an earlier price. Until Tandem accepts a completed purchase or issues a binding written quote with an unexpired acceptance period, Tandem may change prospective prices, included features, schedules, and availability at any time. Tandem will not retroactively change the accepted price for a completed purchase, except to correct an obvious pricing error as described below.
The Order Confirmation identifies the purchased product and governs the applicable cancellation anchor. A product containing multiple components is treated as one purchase unit unless the Order Confirmation separately prices and sells those components.
Email hello@tandemcoach.co. The Purchaser controls cancellation and refund requests. The Participant may handle attendance, scheduling, deferral, accessibility, and academic requests. Tandem may reasonably verify identity and authority, especially when an employer, sponsor, assistant, or other third party paid. A request is received when it reaches Tandem’s email system, not when it is sent.
Tandem will refund amounts paid, less only third-party payment-processing charges actually incurred for the original payment or refund and not returned to Tandem, and will cancel unpaid installments. Tandem will not deduct those charges when applicable law requires a full refund.
Tandem will retain 20% of the total tuition from amounts already paid, refund any amount already paid above that 20%, and cancel all unpaid installments. If amounts already paid are less than 20% of total tuition, Tandem will not collect more solely to reach the 20% retained amount. The retained amount reflects the seat and delivery arrangements reserved in reliance on enrollment, subject to any non-waivable legal right or remedy.
Personal dissatisfaction, a conclusion that the offering is not the right fit, changed work or personal circumstances, a scheduling conflict, failure to attend, or a decision not to continue does not create a refund right after Program Start. This paragraph does not limit a remedy required by law or a remedy for Tandem’s material failure to deliver.
A Participant may defer into or later attend an available future cohort of the same purchased Live Program or module without additional tuition. There is no one-deferral limit or fixed 12-month deadline. The Participant must request and receive confirmation before attending; seats are not automatically reserved and currently enrolled first-time Participants may receive priority.
This right lasts only while Tandem continues to offer the same program or module. Tandem is not required to preserve, create, or schedule a future cohort. A renamed or updated successor counts as the same program only when Tandem designates it substantially equivalent in good faith. If the program is permanently discontinued after Tandem delivered the purchased cohort, the future-attendance right ends without a refund; Tandem may offer a substitute but is not required to do so.
The right covers only the purchased program or module. A different module, added service, individual mentor-coaching component, upgrade, new credential level, or materially different program is a new purchase at the price then in effect. Purchasing modules separately does not lock the price of later modules or services.
If Tandem cancels before Program Start, the Purchaser may choose a full refund without a processing-fee deduction or a transfer to a reasonably comparable offering without a tuition increase. The same choice applies if Tandem materially changes the published delivery format, total live-contact hours, core scope, or advertised credential eligibility before Program Start. A changed class date, comparably qualified substitute facilitator, reasonable curriculum update, platform change, or other change that does not substantially reduce the offering’s value is not material.
After Program Start, Tandem may first provide a reasonably comparable completion path. If Tandem cannot provide one, it will refund only the portion of the purchase price reasonably allocated to the material undelivered remainder. Related changes may be considered cumulatively. Tandem is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost work, third-party application fees, or other consequential costs to the extent permitted by law.
For instructor illness, severe weather, platform outage, government action, public emergency, or another event outside Tandem’s reasonable control, Tandem may reschedule, substitute a qualified instructor, change a delivery method, or provide a comparable completion path. If performance becomes permanently impossible and no comparable completion path is available, the material-undelivered-remedy paragraph above applies.
Self-Paced Digital Courses purchased through Tandem on or after September 11, 2026 include a voluntary seven-calendar-day money-back guarantee measured from the purchase timestamp. Email hello@tandemcoach.co within that period. Earlier purchases retain any longer product-specific promise stated at purchase.
The voluntary guarantee ends when Tandem issues a completion certificate, CCE certificate, badge, or other credential for the purchased course. For a multi-course Self-Paced Digital Course bundle, issuance of a certificate or credential for any included course ends the voluntary guarantee for the entire bundle. A full-program package sold as one unit likewise becomes non-refundable when any included component begins. These voluntary limits do not replace or waive a mandatory legal remedy.
Where checkout offers immediate digital access, the Purchaser may be asked separately to request immediate performance and acknowledge the effect that beginning or completing digital delivery can have on a statutory withdrawal right. A general acceptance of Tandem’s Terms is not treated as that separate request. If applicable law still grants a longer cooling-off or withdrawal right, that law controls.
“Lifetime Access” means access during the commercial life of the purchased course, not the lifetime of the Purchaser or Participant and not a promise that Tandem, a platform, accreditation, or a particular course will exist indefinitely. Tandem may update content, migrate platforms, change technical access methods, and retire obsolete offerings. If Tandem permanently retires a purchased course, it will provide at least 30 days’ notice when reasonably possible and a reasonable opportunity to download eligible materials. Streaming media, licensed third-party content, assessments, interactive features, community access, and materials Tandem cannot lawfully distribute may be excluded from downloading. No cash refund is due after delivery solely because a course is later updated, migrated, or retired.
The exact trial start, trial end, first charge, annual price, included catalog, and renewal date are those displayed at enrollment and confirmed by the membership platform. Unless canceled before the trial ends, a seven-day free trial converts to a paid annual membership at the disclosed price. The membership then renews annually until canceled.
Cancel through the membership platform’s account controls or by contacting hello@tandemcoach.co. Cancellation during the free trial prevents the first charge and access ends when the trial ends. Cancellation after payment stops the next renewal; access continues through the end of the current paid annual term and then stops. Tandem does not provide a prorated refund for an unused part of a paid term, except where non-waivable law requires one or Tandem must correct its billing error.
Course access is available during the trial, but Tandem does not issue completion certificates or final credentials until the first paid charge succeeds. Courses added during an active paid term may be included while they remain in the catalog. If Tandem removes a course for new members, an existing paid member may continue accessing it through the current paid term when Tandem can lawfully and operationally provide that access. Earned certificate records remain available under Tandem’s records policy. Continued access does not guarantee unchanged content, results, accreditation, CCE eligibility, or third-party recognition.
Tandem may change the price for a future renewal after giving the advance notice required by applicable law and a reasonable means to cancel before renewal. Prices for people who have not completed enrollment may change at any time. Required renewal reminders and durable confirmations will be provided when applicable law requires them.
Mentor-coaching packages, coaching packages, one-off supervision sessions, recording reviews, and other Scheduled Services must be used within 12 months after purchase unless the signed contract or Order Confirmation states a different period. Unused sessions expire at the end of that period without a refund, subject to applicable law and legally required accommodations.
A cancellation or rescheduling request received fewer than 24 hours before an appointment, or failure to attend, counts as a delivered session. Tandem may waive this consequence for an emergency in its discretion. If Tandem cancels, the session will be rescheduled or, if Tandem cannot provide it, refunded.
A payment plan divides the price identified in the Order Confirmation; it is not an automatically renewing membership unless expressly described as one. Tandem will not charge for a separately sold module or service that the Purchaser did not order. Taxes, currency, and installment dates shown at checkout or on an invoice form part of the Order Confirmation.
Refunds return to the Purchaser through the original payment method unless law or payment-network rules require another method. Discounts, coupons, scholarships, and credits have no cash value. Tandem initiates an approved refund within three Business Days; a bank or payment provider may take longer to settle it. Currency conversion differences and fees imposed by a purchaser’s bank are not amounts Tandem received and are not refundable by Tandem. Tandem may delay a duplicate refund while a chargeback covering the same amount is pending and will not provide double recovery.
If an obvious pricing or description error occurs, Tandem may reject or cancel the order and refund the amount paid rather than deliver at the erroneous term. Tandem will not increase the price of an accepted order without the Purchaser’s agreement merely because the public price later changes.
Coupon and regional-pricing eligibility is determined under the rules disclosed when the discount is offered. Discounts may not be stacked, transferred, redeemed for cash, or applied retroactively unless Tandem expressly permits it. Misrepresentation of residence or eligibility may result in cancellation and a refund of the amount actually paid, less actual non-returned third-party processing charges where lawful. Tandem will not change an accepted discount after purchase except to remedy fraud, an obvious error, or misuse.
Tandem offers a 10% discount on eligible public training courses and training programs to United States active-duty service members, Reserve members, National Guard members, and military retirees. An eligible spouse or dependent may receive 5%. Tandem may request reasonable proof before purchase. The discount applies only when an eligible person is the Purchaser or Participant, may not be stacked or transferred, has no cash value, and is not retroactive.
The military discount does not apply to coaching, separately sold individual mentor-coaching services, supervision, All-Access, custom organizational or B2B work, taxes, payment-processing charges, or other fees. Tandem may identify additional excluded or eligible training offers before purchase.
A Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that each Participant receives the applicable terms. A named Participant may be substituted before Program Start with Tandem’s written confirmation. After Program Start, substitution is available only in Tandem’s discretion and may depend on attendance, confidentiality, accreditation, and assessment requirements.
For an organizational purchase, Tandem’s Terms and signed Order Confirmation control. Terms printed on or linked from a buyer’s purchase order, procurement portal, or similar document do not supplement or replace Tandem’s Terms merely because Tandem accepts payment or performs. A signed agreement overrides only the provisions it specifically identifies.
Tandem determines whether a Participant has completed Tandem’s requirements and may issue Tandem completion records or certificates. The International Coaching Federation and other third parties independently control their credentials, applications, renewals, audits, fees, standards, and recognition decisions. Enrollment or a Tandem certificate does not guarantee a third-party credential, renewal, employment, client results, income, or any other outcome.
Accreditation, credential pathways, and third-party rules can change. Continued course or membership access does not promise that an offering will retain the same accreditation, CCE hours, application treatment, or other recognition. If Tandem materially changes advertised credential eligibility before Program Start, the pre-start material-change remedy applies. After Program Start, Tandem may provide a reasonably comparable completion path; if none is available, only the allocated undelivered portion is refundable.
Tandem decides transfer-credit and partial-completion recognition based on documented learning and current program requirements. External coursework is not automatically accepted. A partial-completion record describes only work Tandem verified; it is not a certificate of full completion or a promise that another organization will accept it.
Tandem may immediately suspend or permanently end access for harassment, threats, material confidentiality breaches, recording misuse, academic dishonesty, credential fraud, account sharing, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful conduct, or conduct that materially threatens another person, the learning environment, or Tandem’s systems. No voluntary refund is due for removal, and payment remains due for services already delivered, subject to non-waivable law.
The removed person may request one narrow post-removal review within 10 calendar days, limited to mistaken identity or a material factual error. This is not a rehearing of Tandem’s safety, academic, or conduct judgment. Tandem may keep access disabled during review.
If a Purchaser initiates a chargeback or payment dispute, Tandem will end access immediately, except where applicable law or a payment-network rule requires otherwise. If Tandem prevails and the payment remains valid, Tandem will restore any access the Purchaser otherwise retains. If the Purchaser prevails, access may remain ended. A chargeback does not create a right to both a payment-network recovery and a separate Tandem refund.
A Participant retains ownership of their original submission. The Participant grants Tandem and its service providers a non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, review, analyze, annotate, and otherwise use submissions as reasonably needed to deliver, grade, secure, improve, and administer the offering; support quality assurance; investigate misuse; meet legal obligations; and support authorized accreditation review. This may include appropriately safeguarded human or AI-assisted review.
The Participant must have authority to submit the material and must obtain any client, employer, or other third-party consent required for a coaching recording, transcript, case, or personal information. The Participant must redact information not reasonably needed for assessment. Tandem may reject or delete material that lacks adequate consent or creates unnecessary risk.
Tandem may use Tandem-created material and de-identified or aggregated submission information indefinitely for analytics, service improvement, research, evaluation, and development or training of Tandem or provider-supported systems. Tandem will not use an identifiable client recording for generalized model training or promotional use unless the recorded client separately authorizes that broader use. Identifiable recordings and sensitive submissions may be retained for delivery, grading, quality assurance, an appeal, authorized accreditation review, security, dispute evidence, and legal or records obligations, and then deleted or de-identified under Tandem’s applicable records practices. Promotional use of an identifiable Participant or client requires separate consent.
Send a complaint to hello@tandemcoach.co with the offering, relevant dates, and requested resolution. Tandem will acknowledge it within five Business Days, target a written response within 21 calendar days, and allow an appeal submitted within 10 calendar days after the response. Complex matters may take longer; Tandem will provide an update. This process does not prevent a person from exercising non-waivable legal, payment-network, accreditation, or regulatory rights. The separate narrow review for a conduct removal is the only internal review available for that removal.
Tandem will provide legally required disability accommodations and accessible alternatives. Tandem may also make a compassionate exception for illness, emergency, or exceptional hardship in its discretion; doing so once does not create an automatic refund or a requirement to make the same exception later. The Accessibility Statement is incorporated by reference.

Nothing in these Additional Terms excludes, restricts, or replaces any warranty, consumer guarantee, cooling-off right, refund right, accessibility right, privacy right, or other remedy that applicable law does not permit Tandem to waive. If a clause cannot lawfully apply, it is limited only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining clauses continue.
Tandem may provide translated purchase summaries or policy explanations. The English version is the authoritative contractual version only to the extent applicable law permits. If a translated promise shown at purchase is more favorable and applicable law treats it as binding, the mandatory or binding promise controls.
