Tandem Coaching offers an AI-powered tool recommender as part of its Coaching Tools Library. By using this feature, you agree to the following terms.
How it works. When you describe a coaching scenario, your input is processed by a third-party AI service (currently OpenAI, accessed via API) to generate tool recommendations. Your input is sent to this provider for processing. The provider does not use API-submitted data for model training.
Your responsibilities. You are responsible for:
Data handling. Scenario descriptions you enter are: (a) sent to a third-party AI provider for processing; (b) stored in your private scenario history (last 10 scenarios), accessible only to you; (c) automatically anonymized for your reference. Tandem does not share your scenarios with other users. You may request deletion of your scenario history by contacting hello@tandemcoach.co.
No guarantee of accuracy. AI-generated recommendations are suggestions based on pattern matching. They are not a substitute for professional coaching judgment, supervision, or training. Tandem makes no warranty that recommendations are appropriate for any specific client or situation.
ICF compliance. This tool is designed to support coaches in compliance with the ICF Code of Ethics, including Standards 2.1 (confidentiality), 2.4 (secure records), and 2.5 (ethical obligations through technology systems). Compliance with the ICF Code of Ethics remains the sole responsibility of the individual coach.
