Community Guidelines
Why These Guidelines Exist
Tandem’s classes, practice groups, and online community work because learners can practice openly, make mistakes, and give each other honest feedback. These guidelines protect that space. They apply in live classes, practice sessions, mentor coaching groups, the learning platform, and any Tandem chat or messaging space. They are part of the conduct rules in Tandem’s Additional Terms and Conditions.
Confidentiality
- What learners share in practice coaching, demonstrations, and class discussion stays in the room. Do not repeat it outside the session or identify the person who shared it.
- Do not share details that could identify a coaching client. Remove names and identifying details from any case you discuss.
- Do not record, screenshot, or transcribe a session or another person’s contribution. Tandem may record some sessions and will tell participants when it does.
Respect
- Treat faculty, mentor coaches, staff, and fellow learners with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and personal attacks are not allowed.
- Give feedback on the coaching, not the person, using the standards the program teaches.
- Respect different backgrounds, cultures, languages, and coaching styles.
No Selling or Recruiting
Tandem spaces are for learning. Do not use them, or contact lists drawn from them, to:
- sell or promote your own or another business’s products, services, programs, or events;
- recruit learners, faculty, or their clients for another coach education provider or a competing program;
- collect contact details for marketing.
Learners may share their own professional profile when the activity calls for it, such as introductions or peer coaching swaps.
Tandem Materials
- Course materials, recordings, tools, and assessments are for your own learning. Do not share them, post them publicly, or use them to teach others.
- Do not put Tandem materials into an artificial-intelligence tool or service that may use them to train its models or make them available to others.
- Do not share assessment questions, answers, or graded examples.
Your Own Work
Submit only your own work and real coaching that you conducted, with your client’s consent. Tandem’s Additional Terms and Conditions describe what counts as academic dishonesty and what happens if it occurs.
Moderation
Tandem may edit or remove posts, limit a person’s access to community spaces, or take action under the conduct rules in the Additional Terms and Conditions when these guidelines are not followed. Report concerns to hello@tandemcoach.co. Concerns about discrimination, harassment, or safety are handled under Tandem’s Complaint and Grievance Policy.
