A statement assessment works differently from a questionnaire. Questions invite analysis. Statements invite response. When someone reads "I act on feedback quickly," the reaction comes before the reasoning. That reaction is the data.
The three-option format adds precision that a simple yes/no misses. MAYBE responses are not a sign of uncertainty to be resolved before the session begins. They are the content of the session. A MAYBE marks a gap between what someone believes in principle and what they do in practice. That gap is exactly where coaching works.
The coach fills in the statements before the session, customized to the client's current focus. The client responds without discussion. Then the conversation starts with the MAYBEs.
