Structured
Vision Board

GOAL SETTING TOOLS

Give your vision structure so it becomes a plan, not a collage.

From Aspiration to Direction

Traditional vision boards are evocative but vague. They capture mood and aspiration - the feeling of a life you want - but they rarely close the gap between wanting something and knowing what it will take to get there. A structured version does something different: it assigns each life domain its own section, with space for both the vision (what it looks like) and the reality check (what it requires).

That combination - aspiration and honest reckoning - is what separates a vision board from a wish board. Wanting a healthy body is different from committing to the habits that produce one. Wanting financial freedom is different from naming the constraints you are working against. This tool asks you to articulate both.

How to Use This Worksheet

  1. Work one domain at a time. Resist the urge to fill in every section at once. Each domain deserves its own reflection.
  2. Be specific in "My vision." Describe what the outcome looks, feels, and functions like - not just a label. "Fit and energetic" is a start; "running 5K three mornings a week" is a vision.
  3. Be honest in "What this requires." This is where the plan lives. Name the habits, trades, resources, or changes this vision actually demands.
  4. Complete the theme and first action at the bottom. These connect your domains into a coherent direction and give you somewhere to start.
