Complete four sentence stems to map the conditions where you operate at your best.
Sentence completion exercises work because they bypass the part of your thinking that produces polished, defensible answers. When you complete a sentence that's already in motion, you tend to write what's actually true rather than what you've decided is true.
The four prompts here focus on the environmental and situational conditions that shape your performance. Two of them point toward the conditions where you function well - comfort and authenticity. Two point toward their opposites - stress and peak experience. Together, they create a map of the context you operate in.
The most useful output from this exercise is usually the pattern across all four answers: what do the situations where you're most comfortable share? How do they differ from the situations where you're most stressed? Where do stress and peak performance overlap? Those overlaps tend to be worth examining closely.
Read your answers as a set. What do they reveal about the conditions your current environment is or isn't providing?
