COACHING PRACTICE TOOLS

A quarterly-to-weekly planning structure that replaces reactive marketing
with a system that runs year-round.

A Calendar That Actually Runs

Most coaching businesses do not fail for lack of marketing ideas. They fail because marketing stops when the calendar gets full and restarts in bursts when the pipeline goes dry. That cycle - feast, forget, scramble - is the single most predictable pattern in solo coaching practices.

A marketing calendar breaks that cycle by turning next month's decisions into today's plan. The themes and campaigns you define now are the ones that actually run, because they are not competing with client work for the mental bandwidth to decide. The coach who markets inconsistently usually tells themselves they need a better strategy. What they usually need is a calendar.

This calendar is built in layers: annual themes give you direction, quarterly planning gives you focus, monthly and weekly structures give you action. Each layer is loose enough to adapt and specific enough to execute.

How to Use This Planner

  1. Complete Section 1 (annual themes) first. These anchor the quarterly work - without them, quarterly planning becomes arbitrary.
  2. Fill out all four quarters in Section 2 in a single sitting. Spreading it across weeks dilutes the planning effect.
  3. Section 3 is a repeating monthly template. Use it each month within the quarterly framework you have set.
  4. Section 4 (weekly rhythm) is the operational layer - make it realistic for your schedule and do not change it mid-quarter.
  5. Section 5 (campaign timeline) is for specific launches or events. Use it when you have something time-bound to promote.
