GOAL SETTING TOOLS

Clarify what drives you, name what you have built,
and map the steps and risks ahead.

Where This Tool Helps

Effective goal pursuit requires more than a plan. It requires knowing why you are doing it, what you have already accomplished, and where the obstacles might appear. This worksheet addresses all three in sequence: your motivations, your track record, and your next moves alongside the risks attached to them.

The structure is intentional. Starting with motivations grounds you in purpose before you get tactical. Moving to achievements gives you evidence that you can follow through - a resource often overlooked when approaching something new. The action steps and risks section keeps planning honest by pairing every intended move with a realistic assessment of what could go wrong.

How to Use This Worksheet

  1. In the "Life Motivations" section, write what genuinely drives you right now - not what sounds right, but what actually pulls you forward.
  2. In "Life Achievements," list things you have accomplished that matter to you, in any domain. Include things others might overlook.
  3. In the table, write your goal action steps in the left column - specific, concrete moves rather than vague intentions.
  4. For each action step, write the corresponding risk in the right column. Be candid.
  5. Use this worksheet at the start of a new goal cycle or when you feel stuck between intention and action.
