The Ideal Client Avatar is not a demographic report. It is a portrait of a real type of person. Demographics describe the outside: age, occupation, location, income. Psychographics describe the inside: what they value, how they think, what keeps them up at night, what they are moving toward. Both halves matter. Demographic data tells you where to find your client. Psychographic data tells you what to say when you do.
