Work Habits Reflection

ADHD Executive Function Tools

Compare current habits with approaches
you may want to try.

Comparing Current and Preferred Habits

This worksheet compares a current habit with a preferred or better-supported approach across eight optional work-habit prompts. It does not evaluate executive function, diagnose a condition, or prove which practice would have the greatest effect.

This reflection offers eight optional work-habit prompts. For each prompt, describe a current habit and an approach or support you may want to try. Do not assume that a difference proves impairment, predicts impact, or identifies one area you may want to explore.

How to Use This Reflection

  1. Complete one domain at a time. Read the domain name, reflect on your current pattern, and write it down before moving to the "With Stronger EF" column.
  2. Be specific about patterns, not aspirations. In the current-habits column, describe what actually happens - not what you wish happened. In the stronger-EF column, describe the concrete behavioral change, not a feeling.
  3. Identify your one area you may want to explore. After completing all eight, use the commitment section to name one area you may want to focus on; this does not predict which change will have the greatest effect.

Coaching and Health Scope

This is an optional coaching reflection aid, not therapy, diagnosis, medical care, financial advice, employment advice, or a validated instrument. Record your own observations without inferring a cause or required response. Skip, adapt, or stop any prompt that feels unsafe or distressing. Bring persistent sleep, mood, stress, medication, physical-symptom, or safety concerns to a licensed health professional; use emergency or local crisis services for immediate danger.
