Current & Future Attractions

REFLECTION & JOURNALING TOOLS

Map what you have already created and
what you are actively working toward.

Where This Tool Helps

This tool asks a deceptively simple question: what have you attracted into your life, and what do you want next? The left column is often more revealing than the right one. Most clients can generate a long list of desired outcomes. Fewer stop to catalogue what is already present - the relationships, circumstances, and capabilities they have built without necessarily recognizing them as chosen.

The exercise creates contrast. When the two columns sit next to each other, the gap between them becomes visible and specific. That specificity is what makes the wish list actionable rather than aspirational.

Fill the left column before the right one. The steps below explain why the order matters.

How to Use This Worksheet

  1. Fill the left column first: "Things & experiences you have attracted into your life." Include the obvious ones and the ones you take for granted. Include things you did not plan but recognize as yours.
  2. Look at what you have written. Notice any patterns - what themes keep appearing, what kinds of things you tend to create.
  3. Fill the right column: "Things & experiences you wish to attract." Let the left column inform the right one. Some of what you want is an extension of what you have already built.
  4. Look across both columns and identify one item in the right column that already has roots in the left column. That is the easiest place to start.
  5. Bring the completed worksheet to your next session if you want to work through any of the items more specifically.
