Confidence
Booster Exercise

Mindset & Growth Tools

Map the activities that restore your energy
and sense of capability.

Where This Tool Helps

Confidence is not a fixed trait - it fluctuates based on what you are doing, who you are with, and how aligned your actions are with your values. The activities that boost your confidence are data points. They reveal where your strengths live, what conditions bring out your best, and which parts of your life deserve more intentional attention.

This exercise asks you to name those activities - not analyze them, not justify them. Just name them. The pattern across your answers will tell you more than any single response.

How to Use This Exercise

  1. Think broadly. Physical activities, creative work, social interactions, and solitary practices can all qualify.
  2. Write one activity per circle. Keep each entry to a word or short phrase.
  3. Fill as many circles as you can - aim for all six.
  4. After completing the diagram, notice which circles feel most energizing to revisit.
  5. Bring this completed exercise to your next coaching session as a reference point.

Look at what you wrote. Which of these activities have you done in the last two weeks? Circle the ones you have. The uncircled ones are where your coaching conversation might begin.
