Planning & Organization Tools
A structured method for breaking goals into sequenced actions
with clear ownership and deadlines.
Most people write goals, then either stall or thrash. The stall happens when the goal stays abstract - "improve team communication" or "launch the new product line." The thrash happens when someone identifies twenty things that need to happen and can't determine what to do first. Action planning is the bridge between knowing what you want and knowing what you're doing next Tuesday.
What makes this tool useful is its structure. Each goal gets its own section. Each action gets a target date. Each completed action gets a check. That sequence - action, date, completion - is deceptively simple. It counters two of the most common patterns in goal work: the tendency to plan at a level too high to act on, and the tendency to treat a goal as done once it's written down.
